Honey Sweet golden Prune Pie






RECIPE:

Pie Crust  No.1


2 -1/2 cups  flour plus more for rolling

1 tsp  salt
2 tsp  white sugar
1  cup  cold butter
1/4 cup  iced water plus more if needed

Filling


1 pound organic golden prunes  (quantity depends on your pie plate)

2 or 3 tbsp of your favorite honey
1 tsp  thyme leaves 


Bake at  200°C / 390°F  until the crust become golden (about a hour)








For the Crust

Crust  No.1




Cut all the cold butter
in small pieces
and start work well with the flour
using a fork or a spatula


when the butter is completely
incorporated with the flour
make a volcano :)


and start mixing with some tablespoons 
of  iced water


add all the water little bit at time
and work the dough with your hands 
until combined (not very smooth)


divide the dough in two balls
(one for the base, one for the top)
wrap it in the plastic 
and put it in the refrigerator 
for half an hour.
